Watch the exchange, not only the finish

On the next available replay, look at the action immediately before the knockdown. Identify the attack and your visible response. If you only remember the final animation, you may miss the earlier decision that you can improve.

The exact replay controls and availability depend on the current game interface. Use the prompts shown by the game; this guide does not assume an undocumented replay browser.

Three questions for a useful replay review

What target appeared to be threatened? Compare it with the protection you selected if the replay makes that visible.

What did you do before the response? Separate a failed defensive attempt from a response made without recognizing the attack.

What can you see about fatigue? If stamina is not displayed in the replay, do not claim it proves the cause. Recreate the question in a practice round instead.

03

Turn one observation into one drill

Write one next action such as recognizing body attacks or checking stamina before responding. Keep the goal observable enough that your next practice round can answer it.

Avoid rewriting your whole approach after one loss. The goal is a more specific decision, not a universal conclusion about an opponent, style or damage value.
