Before your first fight

Open the Roblox experience by Can You Box? using the Play button on this site. The correct place ID is 132956556682909. The official description lists PC, mobile and console, and offers both other-player fights and AI practice.

Use the current in-game instructions to identify attack, slip, head guard and body guard inputs. A platform label does not guarantee the same bindings on every controller or device.

  • Make sure your camera view is comfortable before a live exchange.
  • Locate the stamina display and notice how it changes while you act.
  • Start with AI practice so you can observe one mechanic at a time.

Give each practice round a purpose

Round one: concentrate on recognizing whether an attack is directed at your head or body. Practice selecting the appropriate guard instead of treating defense as one universal button.

Round two: work on the slip mechanic. Watch the incoming attack, attempt the defensive action and inspect the result. Do not turn one successful attempt into a rule about exact timing.

Round three: look for a response after defense. The developer describes counters as a route to large knockouts, but this guide does not claim a measured counter window. Reset your attention to stamina after the exchange.

03

Three habits to leave out of your first session

Do not judge progress only by wins. You can lose a practice bout while improving the specific defensive choice you set out to learn.

  • Attacking without checking fatigue: the developer explicitly says getting tired slows you down.
  • Sticking to the same guard regardless of the target: the game describes different protection for head and body.
  • Changing several things at once: keep your practice goal narrow enough that you can explain the result.

When to try other players

An editorial checkpoint: move on when you can find your defensive inputs without searching, recognize the stamina display and explain one mistake from the previous exchange. This is a practice suggestion, not a game unlock requirement.

Against another player, return to the same small goal. If the first-person view feels overwhelming, spend the next practice round identifying attacks rather than chasing a longer input sequence.
